Valaric Surfboards was founded in 2004 by Jordan Brazie — born from a pure, hands-on love of making surfboards start to finish. In the early days, every board was made entirely by Jordan, using a fully analog process grounded in craftsmanship and intention.

As the brand evolved, Jordan began working with a trusted circle of friends and seasoned glassers who share his commitment to exceptional quality and detail. From 2014 to 2023, Jordan served as a production shaper for Wave Riding Vehicles, honing his skills and deepening his understanding of the surfboard industry.

Throughout his journey, Jordan has had the privilege of working alongside some of the most respected board builders — craftsmen whose knowledge spans from the golden age of surfing to the present day. His path reflects the Japanese martial arts philosophy of Shu-Ha-Ri: learning from tradition, breaking away, and forging one’s own way.
